Verizon Westell 7500 and APM-J011-WS port forwarding.

3 Days I'm fighting to get port forwarding to work so I can use my 3G android phone to monitor the camera.

I'm going to assume you know the right camera settings.

Camera is working inside the network. I can access it just fine from my laptop and desktop machine, both connected by wifi.

The Camera is also connected by wifi now.

But I need that 3G phone access. I'm using this to monitor my sick mother while I'm out taking care of business.

Have you set the DDNS for the camera?

If you want to use the 3G phone, the best way to login the camera with DDNS remotely.

I have set up the DDNS.

I have it working with my phone for now.

The Westell/Verizon router is the problem.

I had to get the IP address on my phone and explicitly allow it full access to get it to work.

The dyndns link currently doesn't work from anything BUT my phone because of this.

I have to figure out how allow other incoming traffic to see my router so I can look in from any terminal, and find an android app to control the web cam. The Web browser isn't the best option.

I think you have to set the port forwarding in your router to enable the DDNS.
